Generally, windshield replacements and repairs are covered under your comprehensive insurance - meaning as long as your pay your deductible, and haven't had more than two at-fault claims in six years, your premiums will not go up. Simply pay your deductible, and we will bill the remaining portion to your insurance provider.
It is best to call your broker directly - calling the 1-800 number on the back of your insurance slip will bring you to the claims center. Unfortunately they can only set up a claim for you, not give you information on coverage/rates.
For windshield repairs, such as stone chip repairs, there is no deductible to pay and the procedure is fully covered by your insurer. For full windshield replacements, you will typically have to pay your deductible. In Ontario, deductibles are usually $500 - $1000 for a replacement, but can vary depending on the policy options you chose. In Quebec, your deductible could be much lower - we often see deductibles of $50 or $250. We've also seen disappearing deductibles - meaning your replacement could be FREE.
Of course! For a limited time, any approved windshield replacement insurance claim using OEE (Original Equipment Equivalent) glass comes with a FREE $100 Esso Gas Gift Card redeemable at any location!
We'll send you an email requesting the information we require to set up an insurance claim. We then book you in for an appointment for your auto glass repair or replacement at a time that works best for you.
